Jeff Butcher is an American singer, songwriter, and performer blending Folk and Early Americana with Soul, British Rock, 70's Power Pop, and New Wave influences. Comparisons have been made to Jackson Browne, Tom Petty, Andrew Bird, Niel Finn, Big Star, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Hiss Golden Messenger, and Justin Townes Earle.

Current

Jeff is working on establishing a home base around the Dayton, Ohio area, and recording new material that reflects more of his rock roots. Jeff is also an experienced performer, composer, side musician, and studio musician.

Previously on

Recently selected to perform in the Dayton Battle of the Bands. In the past, Jeff has toured Nationally and in Europe, both solo and with several projects spanning different genres, playing Summerfest, SXSW, CMJ, CMW, Savannah Stopover, and SoFar: Boston, Chicago, and Athens. Over the past 18 years, he has played with various acts. Originally from the New England area, Jeff moved to Dayton OH in 2020 and is digging into the local Folk and Indie Americana scene.
